A Message from Oneida Savings Bank President

    Michael R. Kallet
    President & CEO
    Oneida Savings

Keeping your accounts safe is a number one priority
    at Oneida Savings Bank.

In the course of a busy day you may use your debit card at the grocery store, write a check to the dry cleaner, order something online, change service providers for your cell phone, or apply for a credit card. These transactions have become commonplace and we do them without a second thought.

Unfortunately, there is a criminal element out there that is looking for ways to gather your information in order to use it against you. Identity thieves are determined, and they’ve become very clever. While consumers cannot prevent all cases of identity theft, we can limit the opportunities for identity theft.

As President & CEO of Oneida Savings Bank, I can assure you that we take the fullest precautions technologically available to protect your accounts. We’re proud of our systems and our skilled staff that operate them. Please do your part. Proactively monitor your accounts, familiarize yourself with safety logos and trademarks on websites where you conduct business; and take caution when someone requests to verify your personal information over the phone. Oneida Savings will never contact you via phone message, email, fax or text to request or verify your account information or PIN number.

Should you ever have a question regarding an Oneida Savings’ attempt to collect personal information through phone message, email, text, or fax please contact us directly at (315) 363-2000.

Our latest “The Link” Newsletter issue goes into substantial detail on how to protect yourself, your valuables, and your transactions. I encourage you to visit www.oneidabank.com/newsletter, and save, print, read, or share the full newsletter to educate yourself, your friends, family and coworkers about the issues surrounding identity theft.

On behalf of everyone at Oneida Savings, we appreciate your business and look forward to continue being your link to a brighter future.

    Sincerely,

    Michael R. Kallet
Chairman of the Board & CEO
    Oneida Savings Bank
